You
earn or lose points based on what actually happens to the players
through QPR’s season. All competitions count (Coca Cola Championship, FA
Cup, and League Cup) and all players can score in the following ways:
|
First Team Appearance |
+ 3 Points |
|
Goal Scored |
+ 5 Points |
|
Hatrick |
+ 10 Bonus Points |
|
(plus the 15 points for the three goals) |
|
Yellow Card |
- 1 Point |
|
Red Card |
- 3 Points |
Additionally if a player is named man of the match in our website
match reports they will receive a further 5 points. |
As well as this, defensive players and goalkeepers earn and lose
points based on goals conceded: |
Goalkeepers & Defenders (only) |
|
Clean Sheet |
+ 5 Points |
|
Every Goal Conceded |
- 2 Points |
As you have probably gathered by now it is impossible to select a full
QPR first team with the budget you have been allocated, this is quite
deliberate! This game is intended to test your knowledge of our entire
squad and that is why your players will also earn points for any QPR
reserve team matches that they feature in as follows:
|
Reserve Team Appearance |
+ 2 Point |
|
Goal Scored |
+ 3 Points |
|
Hatrick |
+ 5 Bonus Points |
|
(plus the 9 points for the three goals) |
|
Goalkeepers & Defenders (only) |
|
|
Clean Sheet |
+ 3 Points |
|
Every Goal Conceded |
- 1 Points |
Be aware that if a player makes an appearance at any point of the game
he scores as if he had played the full game. Therefore if your defender
is taken off he will still lose points for any goals conceded after he
leaves the pitch, conversely he will earn points for clean sheets as if
he was still playing. This rule also works the same if a player comes
onto the pitch, they will accrue all relevant points as if they had
played the whole match.
Points awarded for goals scored or points lost for red and yellow cards
will not be adjusted if these decisions are overturned at a later date.
Players continue to gain or lose points as appropriate throughout any
periods of extra time that QPR may play during cup competitions. Penalty
shoot outs however do not count for point scoring.
It goes without saying, but a player who does not feature in a match
scores zero points.
