The predict-R-thon Tuesday 9th May 2006 by Ron Norris

|
With Rangers picking up just one league point during April this was one of our lowest scoring months for our ever optimistic predictors, however there were enough points won to declare an outright champion. Let's run through the top five. In fifth spot and moving up two places from last month is Lee with 136 points. Just a point ahead of him, with 137, is Holloway Ranger, who also moved up two places from last months position. He was third after the April update and he's still third at the end of the competition, Paul Hoop finishes two off top spot with 139 points. This years runner up scored 146 points, a good score but not quite enough. In last months update this individual was in the lead but he slips down one place to finish in second. Unlucky Basingstoke R. Which means this years predict-R-thon champion, moving up from second last month and with a total of 152 points is HarpHoops! Well done to him, he joins last years winner Top Hat on the predict-R-thon roll of honour! Thanks to everyone for playing this year, we hope you enjoyed the competition. If you didn't make the top five you can check our where you did finish by clicking the leaderboard link to the right of this text. The predict-R-thon will be mothballed over the summer, then re-launched with new rules and a new look for the new season. If you'd like to pre-register for the 2006-07 competition you can do so now, simply click here to send us an email and we'll make sure you're amongst the first to know when the new competition is up and running.
